Hi, does anyone know if Annie Frances Emmett, who was married to Carlos Trower the African Blondin in 1875 was a singer or performer? I am trying to work out if she is a relation of mine.
Thank you

At age7my grandfather came home saying a man had carried him on a tightrope. His mother ignored this, but next day she heard that Blondin had carried a child over the Cheddar gorge.
I don't know if the story's true, but he did become a well known acrobat.

Books have been written but still nice to see it here. I was born in Callander, Ontario, Canada, home of the Dionne Quintuplets, another piece of Canadian history. I also documented The Great Blondin in a blog at bobmeisterb.spaces.live.com
